Reflux monitoring - hands on course by the Israeli Neurogastroenterology & Motility Society
The current Reflux Monitoring - Hands-On Course took place in Tel Aviv on April 4th, 2024. The course focused on GERD diagnosis and management based on the Lyon 2.0 consensus. It included six lectures on the theoretical aspects and a hands-on session for analyzing and reporting pH monitoring studies (both catheter-based and wireless). Over 30 physicians specializing in Neurogastro and motility attended the course. The scientific content was extensive and up-to-date. The hands-on segment featured typical GERD cases as well as more challenging clinical scenarios, including supragastric belching and rumination. The course facilitated many discussions on clinical, physiological, and technical challenges related to GERD approach and management.
