Educational Event Calendar
ESNM organises various educational and scientific events and hands-on courses in cooperation with its national affiliated societies and support from UEG. ESNM endorsing as well national events which are open for an international audience with an interest to increase their knowledge and expertise in neurogastroenterology and motility related topics.
How to apply
- Register your events by completing the endorsed event application form. Send the registration form, and attach your programme in English, as well as forwarding your promotional material or any documentation to promote your event.
- The programme will be reviewed by the ESNM Meetings Group, President and Treasurer and if approved, official ESNM endorsement will be provided. The scientific event will be advertised on the ESNM Website, be listed in the UEG event calendar and promoted via the quarterly ESNM Newsletter (January, April, July, October).
- The “ESNM endorsed” Logo is provided for the recognition of the scientific value of the event and shall be used in brochures or any other promotional material respectively used to advertise via the web.
- Evaluation of your application will be done four times a year, March 1, June 1, September 1, December 1. The decision and publication will take place within two weeks after the before named dates.
A positive approval of the request for endorsement depends on the particular scientific or educational relevance of the event and if it is not in competition with ESNM.
For endorsement of educational events: please note that the request for endorsement needs to be received by the ESNM office including a full program in English. The endorsement also requests that members of the ESNM Steering Committee have been involved in the program planning and active ESNM members are lecturing at the event.
Applicants agree to display the ESNM endorsement logo on all materials associated with the course or meeting, to give a minimum 10% discount on the registration fee for ESNM members, to provide a report within 3 weeks after the meeting.
For applications of UEG support for common educations events: please note that the ESNM office needs to receive your request at least two months ahead of the submission deadline including the program (in English). The support and cooperation of ESNM requires that the event is in no competition with ESNM politics, members of the ESNM Steering Committee have been involved in the program planning and active ESNM members are lecturing at the event.
Endorsement and advertisement will be provided at no cost with the exception of non-ESNM affiliated or external courses or meetings for which there is a €500,- fee if approved.
