News from our Affiliated National Societies: SAGIM 2025
The annual conference of the Scandinavian Association for Motility and Neurogastroenterology (SAGIM) was successfully held in Copenhagen. A total of 63 participants attended, primarily from across Europe. Danish and European experts delivered engaging lectures on a range of stimulating topics to an active and inquisitive audience.
The main themes of the meeting included:
- Transanal irrigation in non-neurogenic and neurogenic disorders
- Updates on nausea and vomiting, cyclic vomiting, abdominal migraine,
and UEG guidelines - An overview of IBD and dysmotility
- GLP1/2 agonists and motility
Between sessions, participants engaged in lively discussions, exchanged research ideas, and formed new professional connections. The atmosphere was informal and friendly, yet the scientific standard remained as high as ever.
