Editorial leadership transition at Neurogastroenterology & Motility

The ESNM is delighted to welcome the new editorial team of Neurogastroenterology & Motility under the leadership of Daniel Keszthelyi (Maastricht University Medical Center, NL), who takes on the role of Editor-in-Chief. Together with an international team of editors – Andrea Shin, Nicolas Cénac, Neha Santucci, Kristen Smith-Edwards, Allison Malcolm, David Reed, Pierfrancesco Visaggi, Mohsin Butt, Kristin Elfers, Wilmarie Morales, and Rajan Singh – the journal is well positioned for an exciting next chapter.

At the same time, the ESNM would like to extend its sincere thanks to Maura Corsetti (University of Nottingham, UK) for her dedicated service as Editor-in-Chief from 2023 to 2025. During her tenure, the journal further strengthened its scientific profile and impact across neurogastroenterology, motility, and gut–brain science. We are deeply grateful for her commitment, leadership, and engagement, and we look forward to outstanding science and new breakthroughs ahead under the new editorial leadership.

Neurogastroenterology & Motility is an open access gastroenterology journal where current issues and advances relating to the motor function of the GI tract can be presented and discussed.

The journal is of interest to both clinicians and researchers, publishing original research and topical reviews on basic and clinical aspects of gastrointestinal motility and its control, brain-gut interactions, and how nervous systems interact in the control of gastrointestinal functions.
