1st Neurogastroenterology & Motility Conference in Dubai
The UAE’s first-ever Neurogastroenterology & Motility Conference was held on October 5th and 6th, 2024, in Dubai. This groundbreaking conference was organized by the European Society of Neurogastroenterology & Motility (ESNM), Kings College Hospital London, Dubai (KCH), and the Emirates Gastroenterology & Hepatology Society (EGHS).
The conference delivered an inspiring and highly engaging scientific programme, featuring renowned international and regional experts. Speakers from ESNM included Giovanni Barbara, Daniel Pohl, Gerard Clarke, Daniel Sifrim, and Maura Corsetti, who shared their insights on the latest, evidence-based advancements in neurogastroenterology and motility. Their keynote lectures covered a wide range of critical topics designed to enhance the care provided to patients in this rapidly evolving field.
One of the conference’s highlights was the first-ever dedicated workshop in the UAE on pH impedance, Oesophageal Manometry, and Biofeedback Therapy. This workshop allowed participants to gain hands-on experience in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, equipping them with practical knowledge to improve their clinical practice.
