European Neurogastroenterology meetings - NeuroGASTRO

ESNM starts a new series of Europe-based Neurogastroenterology meetings every two years alternating to the Joint international meetings and brings together leading experts and emerging young investigators actively involved in neurogastroenterology, digestive motility and functional gastrointestinal diseases from Europe and from all around the world to discuss cutting-edge research.

Save the Date

All participants of NeuroGASTRO are cordially invited to a Get-Together event,
which will be held on Friday, September 6th, from 7:00 PM onwards at Tejo Power Station. This venue is located in walking distance from the congress center by the waterfront (8-10 minutes)

There are places that are really worth a visit, and then there are places you simply can’t miss – the Electricity Museum is one of those places. Located on the Tejo riverbank in Belém, one of Lisbon’s most dynamic cultural areas, Tejo Power Station is an absolutely unique space. Tejo Power Plant is a thermoelectric power plant which supplied the entire Lisbon region with electric power. A unique example of industrial archaeology from the fi rst half of the 20th century, classifi ed as an Asset of Public Interest in 1986. Entering a new phase of its existence, the Tejo Power Station opened to the public for the fi rst time in 1990 as an Electricity Museum. A space for science, but with an industrial base, this is one of the most visited museums in the country.

The Get-Together will be informal, there is no dress code. Music, Drinks and some fi nger food will be provided. To be granted access to this Get-Together you will need to buy a ticket (EUR 35,-/person) via the online registration in advance. Tickets will be collected at the entrance.

On behalf of ESNM, its president Giovanni Barbara and its treasurer Daniel Pohl, we hope to welcome you on Friday evening, September 6th 2019!
Best wishes from your local host
Luis Novais
